| Judul: Sebuah Deskripsi Etnografis tentang Pantai Barat dan Pantai Utara Papua.
Buku ini adalah deskripsi komprehensif tentang obyek-obyek yang dikumpul di dalam tiga ekspedisi pada tahun 1887 dan satu pada
tahun 1888 dari Ternate kepada pantai barat dan pantai timur Papua. Buku ini mengandung 42 ilustrasi
berwarna yang mengambarkan pakaian, rumah, barang dagangan, alat-alat perang, alat musik dan lain-lain.
Obyek-obyek itu berasal dari Teluk Cenderawasih, pantai utara Kepala Burung, Teluk MacCluer,
Teluk Bintuni, dan Kepulauan Raja Ampat. Tiap tempat asal digambarkan dan deskripsi itu dilengkapi
dengan cara mengunakan obyek-obyek yang dikumpul.
| Title: An Ethnographic Description of the West and North Coasts of Dutch New Guinea.
This book is a detailed description of objects collected during three expeditions in 1887 and one in 1888 from Ternate
to the West and the North coast of Dutch New Guinea. The book contains 42 color illustrations
showing clothing, houses, commodities, weaponry and musical instruments from Cenderawasih Bay,
the north coast of the Bird's Head, the MacCluer Gulf, the Bintuni Bay, and the Raja Ampat Islands.
The sites of collecting and the ways the objects are used are described in detail.
